ACTUARIAL PRESENT VALUE (APV)
Actuarial Concepts is an actuarial consulting firm that also offers individual pension benefit valuations for attorneys in dissolution of marriage actions. Since 1989, we have assisted attorneys in estimating the current value of pension marital interests.
Our standard fee for preparation of an APV determination is $425. This fee is based on the assumption that we are provided with all required information as listed on the attachment to this letter.
Note, however, that additional time incurred by us (e.g., obtaining the required information from other sources, telephone consultations with your client) will be billed to you at our regular hourly rates as follows:
| In-House Counsel: Richard M. Tierney, Esq. | $175 per hour |
| Actuary: Michael J. Tierney | $275 per hour consulting |
| $425 per hour testimony |
The $425 fee for our services should be submitted when the checklist information on the
attached page is returned to us. We prefer that the information be emailed when possible. We strongly recommend that you collect
the fee in advance from your client.
